Twitch Drops in Path of Exile are tied to your game account, not to Twitch itself. So all you need to do is connect the right Twitch account to your Path of Exile profile - the drops carry over to the game account and stay there.
This works the same way for Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2: both share a single connections page.
What you need
After your purchase you should have:
- the Twitch login;
- its password;
Keep these at hand - you'll need them at step 3.
Step 1. Open the connections page
Go to pathofexile.com/my-account/connections and sign in with your own Path of Exile account - the one you play on and want the rewards delivered to.
This distinction matters: you sign in to the PoE website with your own account, and the credentials you received are used later, inside the Twitch window.
Step 2. Remove the current Twitch connection
If a Twitch account is already linked to your profile, unlink it first. In the Twitch block, click Remove.

If nothing is linked and you already see a connect button, skip this step.
Step 3. Connect the account
Click Connect in the Twitch block.

A Twitch authorization window opens. Enter the login and password you received.
Twitch will then show an access request for Path of Exile - click Authorize.
The Twitch block will now show the name of the connected account. Check that it matches the login you were given, not your own.
Step 4. Restart the game
Close the Path of Exile client completely and launch it again. Rewards maybe dont show up without a restart.
Step 5. Check your rewards
Look in two places, depending on the drop type:
- Microtransaction menu - effects, skins, portals and other cosmetic items land here.
- Hideout decoration placement - hideout decorations appear here. Enter any hideout, open decoration mode and check the list of available objects. If an item is a decoration, it may not appear in microtransactions at all - that's expected, look in the hideout instead.
If the rewards don't appear
Work through this list in order:
- Confirm the connection saved. Return to the connections page and check that the Twitch block shows the correct account name.
- Make sure you used your own game account. A common mistake is signing in to the PoE site with a different profile than the one you play on.
- Restart the game once more. Sometimes the list doesn't sync on the first launch.
- Give it time. Synchronisation happens on the game servers and may take a while.
Are rewards tied to Twitch or to the game account? To the Path of Exile account. Once granted, drops stay on your game profile even if you later unlink Twitch.
Can I unlink Twitch after claiming? Yes. Items you already received remain on the game account.
Does this apply to Path of Exile 2? Yes - the connections page is shared between both games.
Do I have to watch streams myself? No. If the drops were already earned on the account being connected, linking is enough.
Where do I find hideout decorations? In any hideout: open decoration placement mode and browse the list of available objects.
